About Me

My name is Jim O’Connor and I am the owner/operator of Burning Bright Fireplaces Ltd.

I have been a licensed Gas Fitter B and WETT certified for over 25 years and received my education at Algonquin College In Ottawa Ontario. I am a good standing member of both institutions.

I stepped away from the field for 8 years upon moving to Grande Prairie in 2013 to become a Restoration Specialist and was employed with two separate companies during that time. I then spent 2 ½ years working in property management.

I saw a need to return to my first passion as I noticed that so many fireplaces were been neglected from the time I spent assisting homeowners over the years in these other fields. With the experience I’ve gained from these professions, I am able to assist the homeowner with so much more than regular fireplace maintenance.
